Clicking on that white box causes drag handles to appear where the chart was. Delete again gets rid of the chart Enter data in A1,A2,A3 Highlight these three cells Insert Chart Click Finish Default bar chart is fine Click on one of the bars so the green squares appear Press Delete Chart goes blank Click in an empty cell Chart vanishes and a small white box appears ( attachment 1 ) Click in that white box and the green drag handles appear where the chart was ( attachment 2 ) Press Delete again Chart is deleted
