How the HTML and RTF versions looked

On Windows 7, I copied some text from Word 2013 and when i pasted it into LibO, LibO chose to paste it in html format rather than rtf and i think this is wrong because HTML isnt a full featured text document format. When looking at the past special list, these were the options:

Microsoft Word Document
HTML format
HTML format without comments
Formatted text [RTF]
Unformatted text
GDI metafile

Tested with 3.3.0 and master.

Maybe this depends on the content that is copied?
In any case I agree: from text editor to LibreOffice rtf should be preferred.
(Or rather show Paste special ;) )

Yes it will depend on where the source of the content comes from. If i copy from a browser it only gives me html, html without comments and unformatted. If i copy from wordpad it gives me wordpad doc, rtf, unformatted and gdi. If i copy from outlook, it gives the same list as from ms word, which messed up the user is bug 74801. If i copy from Kingsoft/WPS writer, it gives html, html without comments, rtf and unformatted.

So the problem arises in both Outlook and Kingsoft Writer as well, so its not limited to only text editors, but to office suite apps. (And paste special rtf would really come in handy here :D)
