Description tester76 2014-04-19 21:44:13 UTC

Meine genaue LibreOffice-Version: Version: 4.2.3.3 Build-ID: 420m0(Build:3)(Ubuntu)
Version: 4.2.3 Portable (Windows 7)

Mein Sprache: Deutsch / Deutschland

Please translate in English. The communication in Bugzilla is 100% English (except if you would like to communicate in English + translation in other language).

Marking as NEEDINFO for translation.

Problem: formatting when printing form letters is wrong

Steps how the problem can be reproduced:
1.In the first writer to create a document with a one-line header with text and a footer with multiple lines of text.
2. With "Insert -> Fields -> Other -> Database" Add links to an address database.
3. About "Format -> Page -> Page" set the top margin to 4.7 cm. The bottom margin to 0.7 cm.
4 Select File -> Print -> Print form letter.

Expected behavior: The top and bottom margin should be transferred correctly.

Observed Behavior: The page margins are apparently reset to the default settings of 2 cm.

My OS: Ubuntu 14.04 and Windows 7

My exact LibreOffice Version: Version: 4.2.3.3 Build id: 420m0 (Build: 3) (Ubuntu)
Version: 4.2.3 Portable (Windows 7)

My Language: German / Germany

Confirmed in Windows 7 with 4.0.6, 4.2.4 and 4.3.1. The output to a pdf printer is different then the output of pdf export. Regression as fine in 3.3.0 and 3.6.7.

I need a test document that does "In the first writer to create a document with a one-line header with text and a footer with multiple lines of text."

In the future please provide a simple test document on every bug report that it's appropriate. Bibisecting can take up to 20-30 minutes per bug and having to randomly create documents just adds to that. With hundreds of bug reports needing attention, just don't have the time. Once a sample document is attached I'll try to bibisect.

This Dokument is correct.

When you print a letter (in German "Serienbrief" I hope it's correct) the page margins are apparently reset to the default settings of 2 cm.

Sorry for my bad english...
