Description Matti Rintala 2013-08-09 12:35:56 UTC
Problem description:
When both presenter console and "Mouse pointer as pen" are enabled, drawing on the slide in the presenter console does not produce any visible output until the mouse cursor is moved to the slide on the other display, after which the drawing appears both on the presenter console and the other display. Additionally, the right-click menu to erase ink, change color etc. does not work on the presenter console screen.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Enable both "Mouse pointer as pen" and 2 displays in Slide show settings, start slideshow
2. Draw on the slide in the presenter screen, nothing seems to happen
3. Move mouse pointer to the main screen, the drawing appears
4. Right-click anywhere on the presenter screen, nothing happens

Current behavior:

Expected behavior:
Drawing on the presenter console appears on the slide immediately. Right-click on the presenter screen slide shows the same menu as right-clicking on the slide screen.

Operating System: openSUSE
Version: 4.1.0.4 release

Not sure if this is a bug. I reproduce when I draw on the speaker screen but it seems to me that this functionality is designed to draw on the presentation screen in order the spectators see the pointer which make the drawing.

I do not know if the behavior is identical on MS-Windows.

Best regards. JBF
