Hi,

I need to place all references in footnotes, also the references for embedded images within my text document.

But up to now the "Footnotes/Endnotes" menu entry in "Insert" is greyed out when an image is selected.

I would be nice when the "Footnotes/Endnotes" menu function might also work for image captions.

Thanks for your report. I had this problem too last time. Very annoying and would be a great enhancement.

Although this, it is already reported in Bug 48534, therefore I'm marking this one as duplicate.
