Thanks for reporting!

I can't find any duplicate for now, and I can confirm this will be an improvement. Therefore I mark this as NEW and as an enhancement request.

Thanks Joren, I hope to see this enhancement implemented. (It would be great to be able to "hover" the mouse pointer over the end-boundaries of the font-name box (and indeed other boxes on the menu bar), and pull them along, like hovering over, and then pulling, the vertical margin boundaries of a column-heading in Excel or a table column in Word.)

lets mark this (earlier reported) bug as dupe of an older bug, because it's fixed, and the patch is linked to that bug report.
