Hidden Changes lead to wrong word count. Example File.

HI!

if you do the following:

1) Write something.

2) Activate the record of changes.

3) Delete something.

4) Hide changes.

You get the following problem:
Hidden changes are calculated in the word count.
Shown changes are not. (What should be normal I think.)

I hope you can understand what I mean. Anyway there is an example file attached to this post.

Just asked a friend to test this. He did had the same result in the first place.

But after adding step 5) he got the same error.

5) Show changes.

I have added an updated example file.

I can confirm, that the word count changes 114 to 115 when hiding the changes and back to 114 when showing the changes

This is an interesting one indeed. I can reproduce so marking as NEW.

My issue is that I'm not positive that I accept that it's a bug. If the change hasn't been accepted then you might actually want it to count the word still. My biggest issue is that there is inconsistency (which is definitely a bug), either the word should be counted, or the word shouldn't, regardless of if "show" is ticked or unticked.

Marking as NEW and prioritizing.

Normal: The only reason why I would suggest that this is a normal priority bug is because in many settings (such as education) there are very strict word count requirements. We need to at least clarify what that number on the bottom means so that there is absolutely no confusion.

Lowest: Not going to impact many people at all, also, compared to a lot of other normal bugs, this is almost trivial.

Other note:If you go to tools -> word count, you get the word count without the deleted word(s) regardless of if show is ticked or unticked

Seems like the bug is fixed. Tested with LO 4 RC1. Isn't it?
