Description xordevoreaux 2021-08-06 14:35:00 UTC
Description:
Why can't I create a purple hatch? Or an orange one? Not only I'm I stuck with an index of colors per hatch pattern, the colors per hatch pattern don't match (see attachment). Can't create the same hatch pattern across the supplied colors.

Separate the color from the hatch so we can choose the color for ourselves.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Windows LO draw
2. Draw a basic shape
3. Select Hatching for the fill type
4. Try to select a purple hatch

Actual Results:
Locked into a pre-programmed index of color+hatch

Expected Results:
I should be able to select any color I want for any given hatch.

Reproducible: Always

You can select a line color and a background color for any hatching if you use Area dialog for selected shape from its context menu.

But we can ask a design team about addition Sidebar options for that

Exactly. Use the dialog to create a user-defined hatching (or any other fill style) to use this at the sidebar. The "Add" button stores the current properties.
