Description eladhen2 2019-07-25 14:39:35 UTC
Description:
Since the upgrade to 6.2.5 the menus in the Hebrew User Interfaces are misaligned to the left but still behave as if they are aligned to the right.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install libreoffice-l10n-he to make Hebrew interface available
2. Set User Interface language in Tools>Options>Languages to Hebrew
3. try to use the menus.

Actual Results:
The menu names align to the left (they should align to the right) but behave as if they are aligned to the right (triggered only by pressing their locations if they were aligned to the right).

Expected Results:
The menus should align to the right and behave accordingly.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

the misaligned menus in 6.2.5

The menus are aligned to the left, to open the Tools menu I need to click "the air" were it would have been if it was aligned to the right

The bug ISN'T present in:
Version: 6.3.0.2

CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;

> 2. Set User Interface language in Tools>Options>Languages to Hebrew

That would actually be: Tools > Options > Language Settings > Language > Language of User Interface

Anyway, I do NOT see this with build:

גרסה: 6.3.0.1
מזהה הבנייה: 1:6.3.0~rc1-2
תהליכי משנה במעבד: 4; מערכת הפעלה: Linux 4.19; עיבוד מנשק: בררת מחדל; VCL: gtk3;
מיקום: he-IL (en_IL); UI-Language: he-IL
Calc: threaded

could it have disappeared between 6.2.5 and 6.3 ?
