Description:
I've create a DB (HSQLDB)
I've Mac OS Sierra and Java JRE 101
Error message is "unable to create connection with source data, unable to find java installed"

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a DB (HSQLDB)
2. go to Tables
3. See error

Actual Results:  
unable to create a new table

Expected Results:
create tables


Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:

Did you check you had Java 64 bits?
Also, could you rename your LO directory profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Mac_OS_X) and give a new try?

Sure, i've installed from jre-8u101-macosx-x64.dmg !! latest !
about LO i've:
/Users/<user name>/Library/Application Support/LibreOffice/4/user

so i've to rename to ?

Whatever, eg:

@Mauro : you need a JDK, not a JRE.

A JRE on its own will no longer work.

The alert message talk about JRE !
I've installed also JDK but does'nt work the same :(

The alert message talks about a missing JRE and that is because it can not find one via the Internet plugins directory (which is where JREs are installed by default.) The JDK should be installed in /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines

You might have to physically indicate to LO where to find the JDK if it doesn't automatically detect it for you.
