Description Oleg 2011-10-13 13:25:24 UTC
1. Start LibreOffice Writer
2. Add new printer in Cups
3. Open the print dialog

EXPECTED:
You can see the newly added printer

OBSERVED:
Printer is not there. You need to colse Writer and open it again for it to notice the printer.

P.S. OpenOffice didn't have this problem, I could even start/stop cups and Writer would update printing dialog correspondingly.

[This is an automated message.]
This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1

Print dialog error message:-

If I use the LO print dialogs every other time
I print I get a message

Could not start printer
Please check your printer configuration

It still prints, is this related to this bugs fix

If I use the system dialogs I don't get the message

This is openSuse 13.1, LO 4.2.3 from factory and KDE 4.12.4
